Main Cape Town 2010 Transport Hub works underway

Hertzog Boulevard at the Civic Centre will be the location of the main 2010 transport hub during the FIFA World Cup. Apart from the 7,000sqm site allocated to the station, the area will also serve metred taxis and other forms of transport. The upgraded Cape Town station and the planned new long distance bus terminal are both within walking distance.

From this station, spectators will use trunk and feeder shuttle services to the stadium, V&A Waterfront, and surrounds. Works are expected to be complete by April 2010.
